Britains first gay Muslim to wed is receiving  multiple death threats a day. Jahed Choudhury, 24, has been threatened online and in the street after marrying Sean Rogan.

He spoke to BBC on the matter and claimed he is currently receiving death threats on social media and in the street.
Jahed said: “The worst [messages] say ‘the next time I see you in the streets, I’m going to throw acid in your face’.

“Even if I walk down the streets, I have people spitting on me and calling me pig – all the nasty stuff. I just keep walking.”

Jahed also stated: “I’ve been brought up Muslim and the Koran mentions you cannot be gay and Muslim. But this is how I have chosen to live my life. I will never get rid of my faith.”

Many Muslims are outraged on Jaheds hypocrisy and are not backing down from death threats. Many emails include descriptive details on how they will find him and his lover to be thrown of the highest rooftop.

Jahed has set up a YouTube channel where his story received over 5,000 views, and says he was motivated to speak out online to encourage support for LGBTQ community from religious backgrounds.

Muslims argue you can not be a practicing Muslim and deliberately go against the faith. You must prepare for death with such deliberate hypocrisy and disrespect.
